Waymo robotaxi resumes highway routes
Waymo is resuming robotaxi highway routes it had suspended for more than two months, TechCrunch reported. The company plans to re-add highway routes to its service areas in stages, starting in Phoenix, with Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area expected to follow within days. Waymo said it applied a software update to improve driving performance near highway construction zones and strengthened scene recognition and route-setting functions.

KISA, K-water to cooperate on construction site-specific CCTV security
The Korea Internet & Security Agency said on Wednesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Korea Water Resources Corp to develop and expand construction site-specific closed-circuit television (CCTV) technology. KISA said the cooperation aims to set standards for a CCTV performance testing and certification scheme reflecting construction sites with frequent equipment and worker movement. It plans to support the prevention of safety accidents at dam and water-supply construction sites.
