K Bank to start applications for high oil price relief payments on April 27

K Bank said it will accept first-round applications for the government’s high oil price relief payments in its app starting April 27. The support policy is aimed at easing household burdens stemming from rising international oil prices and higher living costs. Payments will range from 100,000 won to a maximum of 600,000 won per person depending on income level and area of residence. Applications will be expanded to the bottom 70 percent of income earners from May 18.

K Bank to suspend services on April 19 for system update

K Bank will temporarily suspend services for about 10 hours from 12 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 19, to carry out a system update, it said on Thursday. All financial transactions via its app and website will be halted during the period, including deposits, loans, card payments, ATM transactions and crypto exchange deposits and withdrawals. Some customer service functions will remain available.

Woori Bank launches three financial products for T1 fans

Woori Bank has launched three \"Woori T-WON\" products as the main partner of the League of Legends Champions Korea and an official sponsor of T1. The Woori T-WON savings plan allows up to three accounts per person and daily deposits of 1,000 to 30,000 won for 100 days, with a cap of 50,000 accounts. It offers a base annual rate of 2.6 percent and up to 6.6 percent with preferential rates. The bank and Woori Card are also holding promotional events.
