Shinhan Bank said on Tuesday it will run an event offering travel-stage benefits for customers of its SOL Travel check card and SOL Trip & Shop check card.

The event features benefits tailored to customers’ usage flow from trip preparation to overseas payments and re-exchange after returning home. Shinhan Bank plans to select 6,000 winners to receive various prizes.

In the trip preparation stage, the bank will select 2,500 customers who issue an eligible card for the first time during the event period and spend at least 10,000 won at offline Olive Young stores. They will receive a 5,000 won Olive Young mobile gift certificate.

In the overseas travel stage, 2,000 customers who spend a cumulative 30,000 won or more overseas using an eligible card will receive 5,000 My Shinhan Point points. ATM transaction performance is excluded.

After returning home, the bank will provide a Mega MGC Coffee iced Americano coupon to 1,500 customers who re-exchange remaining foreign currency in SOL Travel foreign-currency deposits into won, with transactions of at least 30,000 won per case.

A Shinhan Bank official said the bank will continue to expand various benefits so customers can experience more convenient overseas travel services.
