Private AI expands from zero-trust security to AI governance

Private AI, formerly Private Technology, has repositioned itself from a zero-trust security company to an AI governance and control provider. Executive director Beom-su Joo (주범수) said the firm expanded because its core technology aligns with AI governance and is already implemented in products, with a goal of lifting AI revenue to more than half next year. The company is targeting finance and public institutions and sees N2SF as an opportunity in the public sector.

Genians develops AI-based K-security integrated platform targeting Middle East market

Genians said on Tuesday it has developed an AI-based K-cybersecurity integrated management platform called the Nexus Framework under a government-supported national project. The initiative focuses on building a managed security system optimised for the Middle East to help Korean companies expand globally. Genians said it first unveiled the platform at the GISEC security exhibition in Dubai and integrated its NAC, ZTNA and Insights E products to support zero trust architecture.

N2SF shift opens public-sector security SaaS market, Monitorlab to step up push

Monitorlab plans to push its Security Service Edge platform into South Korea\'s public sector, citing growing opportunities as the National Network Security Framework, or N2SF, is introduced. CEO Lee Gwang-ho said government policy now supports public agencies adopting security as a service, though hurdles remain. The company said multiple certifications are still required and costly. Monitorlab is also working with LG Uplus and is seeking growth overseas, while highlighting generative AI security as a new driver.
