Genians, a cybersecurity company, said on Aug. 13 it was selected for the Korea Exchange-hosted 2026 KOSDAQ Rising Star programme for a fourth consecutive year.

Genians said it received high scores across quantitative and qualitative evaluations after submitting its network access control solution, Genian NAC (Network Access Control), in the cybersecurity sector, which is classified as an innovative growth item.

Genians will receive a comprehensive package from the Korea Exchange, including personnel, funding and consulting, to strengthen global capabilities as a result of the selection. Genian NAC is the No. 1 product by market share in South Korea’s public sector market in the NAC segment and is also listed in the domestic 'Gartner NAC Market Guide.'

Genians is expanding its business portfolio with next-generation security solutions such as EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response), ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) and quantum security.

Kwon Myung-jun (권명준), an analyst at Yuanta Securities, said, "As cyber threats surge and become more sophisticated due to the advancement of AI technology, applying EDR and integrated security solutions that go beyond existing antivirus has become a necessity rather than a choice for companies." He added, "Given that AI development and the cybersecurity industry market are proportional, there is a need to pay attention to Genians."
