MegazoneCloud to co-develop physical AI business models with Japan\'s AVITA

MegazoneCloud said on Monday it will work with Japan’s AI avatar company AVITA to develop physical AI business models. The companies recently signed a strategic partnership agreement at MegazoneCloud’s liaison office in Seoul’s Yeoksam-dong. They plan to combine MegazoneCloud’s cloud and AI capabilities with AVITA’s AI avatar technology to develop physical AI services linked to autonomous robots and apply them across industrial sites, with plans to expand cooperation into areas including finance and the public sector.

MegazoneCloud, KISTI open Korea Quantum Nexus Center

MegazoneCloud and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI) have jointly opened the Korea Quantum Nexus Center in Seoul, the companies said. The centre was set up under a project launched in June last year to build a quantum computing service and utilisation framework. It plans to develop industry-focused quantum algorithms, support proof-of-concept work for companies, provide technical support, and run education and training programmes.

Krafton to hold AI R&D hackathon, seeks participants until March 27

Krafton said on Tuesday it will hold an AI R&D hackathon to identify talent in artificial intelligence research and development and is recruiting participants until March 27. The event is open to anyone regardless of major, age, career or education. The competition has two stages, with an online preliminary round on March 28 and 29 and an offline final round on April 4 and 5 at Krafton’s Yeoksam office. Total prize money is 9 million won.
