Comtrue Technology will hold the 9th Dreams Come True Conference at 2 p.m. on Nov. 4 at POSCO Tower in Yeoksam, Seoul, and unveil new features provided in Sherlock Holmes AI DLP.
The company said Sherlock Holmes AI DLP is a data loss prevention (DLP) product that uses AI to supplement the limitations of existing endpoint DLP, network DLP and generative AI DLP. It is focused on overcoming the limitations of existing DLP, which has many false positives and misses.
It is designed to expand the detection range of existing DLP and improve accuracy through rechecks. It supports blocking various leakage routes, including printing and removal via storage media, prompt input and file uploads in generative AI, and shadow AI, or the use of unapproved AI tools.
At the event, Comtrue Technology will also share new Sherlock Holmes AI DLP features and AI-based strategies to protect data in work environments.
A Comtrue Technology official said, "As AI spreads across work overall, the scope of data that companies must protect has also widened. We hope this conference will be a place to look broadly at data protection, from DLP enhanced with AI to generative AI security and non-face-to-face identity verification, and to consider the direction of data protection together."
