JobKorea, an AI and data-based HR tech platform operated by WorkSphere, will hold the HReka 26 HR conference on Aug 27 at Amorish Hall in GS Tower in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul. The theme is “Change that creates victory in the AI era.”

JobKorea has run the lecture-style HReka Conference, which shares the latest HR trends and corporate cases, and the small-group networking program HReka Meetup since last year. About 200 HR managers took part in the previous conference.

This year’s event will first feature speakers from HR companies and academia. Under the theme “How HR works in the AI era,” sessions will cover building a high-performance AI organisation based on vision and capabilities; performance management using data rather than memory; HR change strategies and implications in the AX era; and an AX journey experienced by an HR practitioner.

Jae-yong Shin (신재용), a professor at Seoul National University, will present on “emotional salary and the conditions of companies that attract talent,” based on community statistics from Blind and other platforms.

JobKorea’s Chief Strategy Officer Chang-jun Lee (이창준) will speak on “Why hiring is becoming more difficult.” JobKorea will also run on-site one-on-one recruitment consulting booths so HR insights from the talks can be applied to solving real hiring challenges.

Eun-hye Jung (정은혜), head of WorkSphere’s Insight Strategy Team, said that as AI changes how people work, what matters is executing recruitment-trend changes as strategies tailored to each organisation, beyond whether to adopt technology. She said the event is a venue for sharing companies’ actual AI transformation cases and operational data and exchanging insights, and expressed hope that companies preparing hiring through JobKorea and Albamon will gain proven solutions at HReka 26.
