Apple\'s \'Duo\' is not the first as company makes choice shaped by Microsoft\'s failure

Apple’s first foldable iPhone, unveiled on Sept. 9 local time and named iPhone Duo, is the second foldable smartphone to use the “Duo” name after Microsoft’s Surface Duo. Microsoft avoided a flexible folding screen by linking two 5.6-inch OLED panels, but software problems and other shortcomings hurt the product and it was discontinued.
