LG Uplus to release 10,000 preferred mobile numbers in public draw

LG Uplus will allocate 10,000 preferred mobile phone numbers such as 1111, 7777 and 1004 through a public draw. The company will accept applications from Sept. 16 to 29 via its website and the U+ONE app. Eligible number patterns include repeated digits, sequences and other meaningful combinations. Results will be announced on Oct. 8, and winners can register the number in their name at LG Uplus stores within a set period.

LG Uplus boosts \'Uplus Two Plus\' Chuseok benefits, invites long-term customers to Hwadam Forest

LG Uplus is expanding shopping, outings and dining benefits under its \'Uplus Two Plus\' membership programme for Chuseok, it said on Sept. 7. The September package includes 53 partner offers and adds three new partners. Discounts and coupons will be available for grocery shopping and family leisure during the holiday period. The company will also invite 5,000 long-term customers to Hwadam Forest in Gwangju, Gyeonggi province, on Oct. 19.

LG Uplus ranks No. 1 in digital customer experience index for third straight year

LG Uplus said on Wednesday it ranked first in the 2026 Digital Customer Experience Index (DCXI) mobile telecommunications category run by the Korean Standards Association. The index measures customers’ experience using products and services through corporate digital channels. LG Uplus said it has ranked first for three consecutive years since the mobile telecoms evaluation began in 2024, citing improvements in digital customer experience centred on its integrated customer app, U+one.
