LG Uplus is expanding shopping, outings and dining benefits under its 'Uplus Two Plus' membership programme for Chuseok. It will also hold an invitation event for long-term customers.
LG Uplus said on Sept. 7 its September Uplus Two Plus benefits are centred on areas with strong demand during the holiday period, including Chuseok grocery shopping, holiday outings and family dining.
This month it will offer a total of 53 partner benefits. It also added three new partners, including Unistudy, Uparu Odyssey and the Gourmet Bridge food court at Incheon airport. For Chuseok grocery shopping, it will offer coupons worth up to 27,000 won at Kurly on Sept. 8. It will offer up to 20,000 won at Ourhome Mall on Sept. 15, up to 15,000 won at Sajo Mall on Sept. 16, and a 15,000 won discount at Ottogi Mall on Sept. 18. On Sept. 24, customers can get up to 3,000 won off at Emart24.
It also prepared outing benefits for families during the holiday period. These include up to 35 percent off admission tickets to Aqua Planet on Sept. 8, up to 30,000 won off domestic and overseas accommodation on Yeogi Eottae on Sept. 10, 60 percent off rental fees for Lotte Rental's G car on Sept. 14, and up to 50 percent off Ocean World tickets on Sept. 18.
In dining and beverages, it prepared benefits including up to 55 percent off Pizza Hut premium pizzas, up to 8,000 won off Coupang Eats X No More Pizza, up to 25,000 won off Mad for Garlic, up to 50 percent off Gong Cha, and up to 9,000 won off Baskin-Robbins Family.
LG Uplus will also hold an invitation event for long-term customers for the autumn foliage season. It will invite 5,000 customers to Hwadam Forest in Gwangju, Gyeonggi province, on Oct. 19. Customers who hold membership VVIP status and have used LG Uplus for at least 10 years can apply for the event through U+one until Sept. 18. Winners will receive up to four Hwadam Forest admission tickets per person.
Joon-young Jang (장준영), executive director and head of the marketing group at LG Uplus, said the company strengthened benefits closely tied to food and daily life for customers who feel burdened by Chuseok grocery shopping and expanded holiday culture and dining benefits. He said it will continue to expand benefits and experiences that customers can feel in everyday life.
