LG Uplus said on Wednesday it ranked first in the 2026 Digital Customer Experience Index (DCXI) mobile telecommunications category run by the Korean Standards Association (KSA).
The Digital Customer Experience Index is an indicator that evaluates the level of customers’ experience in using products and services through companies’ digital channels. LG Uplus said it has ranked first for three consecutive years since the mobile telecommunications evaluation began in 2024.
LG Uplus cited improvements in digital customer experience centred on its integrated customer app, U+one, as the backdrop to the high evaluation. On U+one, customers can handle key tasks themselves, including checking and paying bills, changing plans, signing up for roaming and using membership benefits. It also provides family mobile service management functions such as checking and paying a child’s bill, managing discounted contract options and reporting lost devices.
It is also strengthening AI-based services. LG Uplus operates AI search within U+one, as well as chatbot and callbot services and AI support functions for consultations. It is also expanding personalised services that reflect customers’ usage patterns. In the second half of this year, it plans to upgrade AI search into an agent form to support not only information searches but also customer tasks such as checking and paying bills. It will also expand membership movie ticket bookings and personalised content.
Kang Jin-wook (강진욱), executive director and head of LG Uplus’ Mobile and Digital Business Group, said, "We will continue to use AI agents to provide a customer experience that helps customers find the information they want faster and handle necessary tasks easily."
