XRPL on-chain transactions surge 6,000 percent, fuelling XRP rebound hopes
XRP has held the key support level of $1.25 as daily XRPL transaction volume surged to about $49.66 billion, lifting expectations of a rebound to $2. Data tracked by Santiment showed XRPL volume jumped 6,000 percent from around $800 million a day. Analysts pointed to rising on-chain activity and outlined levels including $1.56, $1.10 and longer-term targets. XRPL also saw inflows into tokenised real-world assets.

Bitcoin recovers to $83,000 range as hopes rise ahead of FOMC
The cryptocurrency market rose after Bitcoin regained the $83,000 level. As of 8 a.m. on Oct. 21, Coin360 showed Bitcoin trading at $83,032, up 1.17 percent on the day, with a market share of 59.81 percent. Ether, XRP and several altcoins also gained, led by Zcash. The move followed a rebound in tech stocks and net inflows into crypto ETFs, while U.S. yields, oil prices and an upcoming FOMC meeting remained a burden.

XRPL draws $1.9 billion in RWA inflows, Ethereum outflows accelerate
XRP Ledger (XRPL) recorded $1.9 billion in net inflows to real-world asset (RWA) products over the past six months, ranking second among blockchain networks. Ethereum posted $2.7 billion in net outflows over the same period, the biggest decline. Data also showed BNB Chain led inflows. When stablecoins are included, Tron ranked first with $7.8 billion, while Ethereum’s net outflows widened to $22.3 billion.
