[DigitalToday reporter Yoonseo Lee (이윤서)] XRP has held the key support level of $1.25 as XRPL transaction volume surged to about $49.66 billion a day, fuelling expectations of a rebound to $2.
Blockchain outlet Cryptopolitan reported on Oct. 20 that figures compiled by on-chain data platform Santiment showed XRPL volume jumped 6,000 percent from around $800 million a day over the previous few days.
Market attention is focusing on rising on-chain activity rather than price moves. Analyst Ali Martinez (알리 마르티네즈) suggested XRP may have entered a bottoming zone, citing a sharp increase in transactions near key price levels.
Martinez also laid out levels to watch. He saw scope for XRP to attempt a rise to $2 if it keeps closing steadily above $1.56, but said it could slide to $1.10 if it fails to hold $1.25. He pointed to broad crypto declines amid persistent U.S. inflation and the fallout from a market correction, adding that XRP has also shown high volatility.
More bullish views also emerged. Vincent Van Code (빈센트 반 코드) argued that recent market action was a process of shaking out weak hands, and said a new all-time high could come within the next few weeks. Analyst Egrag Crypto (이그랙 크립토) also forecast that XRP could rise to the $1.80 to $2.00 range within one to two months, then see a pullback to around $1.50 before a larger upswing. He set a top target for this cycle at $7 to $9.
Inflows into the XRPL ecosystem are also drawing attention. XRPL posted net inflows of $1.9 billion into real-world assets over the past six months, ranking second among tracked blockchains. RWA.xyz data showed BNB Chain ranked first with $2.2 billion, followed by Solana with $1.6 billion and Stellar with $1.5 billion.
XRPL's presence is clear on a basis excluding stablecoins, but rankings change when stablecoins are included. Under that measure, Tron ranked first with $7.8 billion in net inflows over the past six months, followed by HyperEVM with $5.0 billion and Solana with $2.6 billion. XRPL slipped to fourth with $2.5 billion in net inflows on the expanded basis.
XRPL's tokenised RWA value also grew rapidly. The value of decentralised RWA rose to $2.25 billion by the end of the first quarter from $518 million early this year, up 124 percent from the previous quarter. In May, tokenised RWA hit a new high of $3.53 billion, and total ecosystem value including stablecoins topped $5.37 billion.
Still, a larger asset base on XRPL does not automatically translate into a rise in XRP's price. Whether it turns into real demand depends on how the network is used and what role XRP plays in transactions.
XRP: THE BOTTOM IS IN Transaction volume on the $XRP Ledger exploded last night as prices hovered around the $1.25 support. The total dollar value of coins transferred on-chain skyrocketed to $49.70 billion, coinciding with the rebound that is now taking place. This surge in on-chain activity around such a critical support level suggests that $1.25 could mark the bottom. As long as this support continues to hold, $XRP could be on track for a bull rally toward $2.
