XRP Ledger (XRPL) has posted $1.9 billion in net inflows in real-world assets (RWA) over the past six months, ranking second among blockchain networks.

The Crypto Basic, a blockchain media outlet, reported on Oct. 19 that Ethereum recorded $2.7 billion in net outflows over the same period, the biggest decline.

Data from RWA.xyz showed BNB Chain recorded the largest net inflows at $2.2 billion. XRPL followed. Solana recorded $1.6 billion and Stellar $1.5 billion. Avalanche posted $637 million in net inflows, Base $210 million, Monad $200 million and Robinhood $199 million.

By contrast, there were few networks that saw money leave. Ethereum posted the largest decline with $2.7 billion in net outflows, and Plume recorded $223 million in net outflows. While most networks showed net inflows, only Ethereum and Plume moved in the opposite direction.

Rankings change when stablecoins are included. Tron ranked first with $7.8 billion in net inflows over the past six months, followed by HyperEVM with $5.0 billion and Solana with $2.6 billion. XRPL ranked fourth with $2.5 billion in net inflows. The figure shows Ripple's RLUSD is contributing to an expansion of the tokenised asset market on the network.

Ethereum's net outflows grew to $22.3 billion when stablecoins are included. Arbitrum also recorded $3.0 billion in net outflows, while Polygon posted $619 million in net outflows. Still, these figures alone cannot conclusively show investors have left Ethereum or that all outflows moved to other blockchains.

XRPL has set several milestones in 2026 alongside the expansion of the tokenised asset market. The network's decentralised RWA value started the year at $518 million and rose to $2.25 billion by the end of the first quarter. That was up 124 percent from the previous quarter. In May, the amount of tokenised RWAs topped $3.53 billion, setting a new record, and the combined total of RWAs and stablecoins also exceeded $5.37 billion.

Early growth was also notable. XRPL took about 15 months to reach $400 million in tokenised value, while Ethereum took 36 months to reach the same level. Still, the same growth rate cannot be assumed to continue.

Asset composition is heavily weighted toward specific products. Justtoken's JMWH energy token accounted for $2.23 billion of XRPL's total tokenised value, the largest share. As tokenised commodities and asset-backed credit products also increased, the range of asset types on XRPL widened. RLUSD also increased in 2026 from $235 million to more than $1.0 billion. Ripple announced in February it would partner with Aviva Investors to bring traditional fund structures onto XRP Ledger.

The figures show XRPL is gaining presence as a destination for tokenised asset inflows. Still, the market structure also needs to be considered given that a significant share of asset growth relies on a specific token and the expansion of RLUSD.
