JD.com to deploy 3 million robots, 1 million driverless vehicles over five years to automate logistics network

JD.com plans to introduce 3 million robots over the next five years to fully automate its nationwide logistics network. JD Logistics also outlined deploying 1 million driverless vehicles and 100,000 delivery drones, and presented its industrial Wolf robot series at an event in Beijing. Executives said the systems are designed to handle picking, sorting, transport and delivery with minimal human involvement. The company also plans to collect more than 10 million hours of operational data, expand R&D bases and build a computing cluster using 100,000 domestic chips.

Instinct AI assistant adds dedicated email to handle sign-ups and inquiries directly

Instinct, an AI assistant, has introduced a dedicated email address feature so it can handle email-based tasks on a user’s behalf. The assistant can create and run its own account without going through a user’s mailbox, and can sign up for services, manage accounts and contact businesses. Users can forward emails such as order confirmations for returns. Instinct can also track long email threads and summarise remaining decisions, schedules and follow-ups.

SKT launches college entrance exam support \'White Paper\' campaign 77 days before test

SK Telecom will run its \'Suneung Support White Paper\' online campaign from Sept. 3, 77 days before the 2027 College Scholastic Ability Test. The campaign includes three programs: a quiz-based cheer lecture for parents, a message-making tool with a random gift draw for students, and a personalised luck card based on birth date. Gifts and additional benefits are offered, with some limited to 50,000 people.
