SK Telecom will run the 'Suneung Support White Paper' campaign from Sept. 3, 77 days before the 2027 College Scholastic Ability Test. Parents and students can take part together.
The campaign consists of three programs: 'Cheer Lecture', 'The Basics of Cheering' and 'Get a Luck Card'. People can participate on the campaign website regardless of their mobile carrier.
Cheer Lecture lets parents check their cheering type through a quiz and learn ways to encourage their test-taking children. They can share the results with other parents via KakaoTalk and text messages.
In The Basics of Cheering, parents can choose a background and create a cheering message for their children in text or video form. Students who receive the message can join a 'random lucky gift draw' to receive a gift. Gifts will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis to 50,000 people.
Get a Luck Card is a program that creates a personalised luck card based on saju when students enter their date of birth and other details. If they post the card on Instagram, Threads or X, they can also enter the 'lucky gift package' event. The event runs until Sept. 30 and will provide, through a draw, a physical keyring using the student-made luck card and lucky items.
SKT plans to provide all students who participate in the campaign with a 'T Direct Shop voucher' after the exam, regardless of their carrier. It will also send cheering text messages to campaign subscribers 30 days, 7 days and 1 day before the test. From the exam day, it will roll out additional benefits for students in stages.
Yoon Jae-woong (윤재웅), head of SKT's Product and Brand Division, said the company prepared various programs and benefits so students and parents can naturally share their feelings and spend the remaining period with energy.
