Han Seok-kyu returns to SKT ads after 28 years
Actor Han Seok-kyu (한석규) has returned to SK Telecom advertising for the first time in 28 years, reviving a line that drew attention in a 1998 campaign. SKT said it released a new ad timed to Samsung Electronics’ latest foldable smartphone launch, paying homage to its “Speed 011” commercial. The campaign also includes a mockumentary-style ad that flips the old tagline and highlights the Galaxy Z Fold8’s foldable feature.

Korea stamp exhibition 2026 opens in Seoul
The Ministry of Science and ICT\'s Korea Post has opened the 2026 Republic of Korea Stamp Exhibition in Seoul, offering displays and hands-on programs that let visitors experience the past, present and future through stamps. The event runs through Aug. 2 under the theme \"Stamps, diving into the times.\" Korea Post will issue 700,000 stamps marking the 50th anniversary of Robot Taekwon V and has set up themed halls, including AI-related content and a promotional area for a planned October \"Faker\" stamp.

Korea Post to hold stamp exhibition featuring Robot Taekwon V and Faker
The Ministry of Science and ICT’s Postal Service will hold the 2026 Korea Stamp Exhibition from July 29 to Aug. 2. The event, themed “Stamps, diving into the times,” will run at Dongdaemun Design Plaza’s Igansumun exhibition hall. It will feature a Robot Taekwon V commemorative stamp area and AI-convergence content. Korea Post will issue 700,000 stamps marking Robot Taekwon V’s 50th anniversary and preview stamps for Faker due in October.
