Japan hit by data leaks from rental cars to convenience stores and post office

Data leaks involving companies and institutions in Japan are continuing, affecting businesses ranging from rental cars to convenience stores and the postal service. Times Car, operated by Park24, reported unauthorized access that may have affected about 6.6 million members. Seicomart said data on 572,022 app members were viewed by a third party. Japan Post reported 69 leaked cases affecting 19 people. Benefit One said a configuration error exposed data on 13,460 people.

Samsung union conflict widens with New York ad and chair sent to prosecutors
