The Ministry of Science and ICT's Korea Post has prepared an exhibition that allows visitors to experience the past, present and future through stamps.

Korea Post said on July 29 it opened the "2026 Republic of Korea Stamp Exhibition" at the Egansumun exhibition hall at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul.

The exhibition runs through Aug. 2 under the theme "Stamps, diving into the times." It introduces the role of stamps in linking the past, present and future and connecting generations through various exhibits and hands-on programs.

During the exhibition, Korea Post will issue 700,000 stamps marking the 50th anniversary of Robot Taekwon V. The venue includes a themed hall for the Robot Taekwon V commemorative stamps, a themed hall featuring stamps with current trend keywords and a themed hall for convergence content that incorporates AI technology.

It will also run hands-on events that visitors can join and enjoy. Korea Post has also set up a promotional area for a planned October commemorative stamp for "Faker," with a game zone, uniform, mouse and other items to welcome attendees.

Korea Post chief Park In-hwan (박인환) said the Republic of Korea Stamp Exhibition is made up of various themed halls and hands-on programs so everyone can enjoy it. He said he hopes visitors will communicate with the diverse culture contained in stamps and take a refreshing dive into stamps during the hot summer.
