Younglimwon SoftLab opened Y SPACE in Paju to expand a collaboration environment based on creativity, innovation and culture. The site spans about 5,327 square metres across four buildings and aims to strengthen communication, collaboration and productivity to ultimately innovate organisational culture. The company said the open design offers an immersive research setting. Facilities include work, work-stay, workshops and family休養 functions, with lodging and community amenities. It will also support global expansion efforts.

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Wednesday it has newly selected 10 company builders and three comprehensive technology commercialisation firms to strengthen full-cycle support for public research results from universities and government-funded research institutes. It will provide annual funding of 1 billion won per company builder and 3 billion won per comprehensive firm, both over five years. The selected organisations will help find promising public technologies, support start-ups and secure early investment.
