A proposal by Cardano co-founder Charles Hoskinson to move community governance discussions from X to a dedicated Discord server has triggered growing backlash within the ecosystem. Justin Bons of Cyber Capital urged stakeholders to curb Hoskinson’s influence and called for his removal. Critics warned a moderated Discord could skew debate and questioned Cardano’s progress, citing a 23 transactions-per-second capacity in 2026. Supporters argued a separate forum could improve productivity while keeping X for updates.

Nexon said on April 23 it will end service for its casual online TPS “Bubble Fighter,” which it has operated for 17 years since its 2009 launch, on June 24. The company said it judged it difficult to provide a satisfactory service given the current user environment and operating conditions. In-game shop services and certain events ended immediately after the regular maintenance on the day.
