SpaceX spotted preparing battery-equipped Starlink Mini in reversal
SpaceX is preparing to launch a new Starlink Mini satellite internet antenna with a built-in battery that can operate without a separate power connection. Clues pointing to a battery-integrated model were found in analysis of Starlink’s latest firmware source code. The code includes lines to check battery status and defines three independent power states, implying support for wired power, an internal battery, or both. This could address issues seen with third-party battery products.
