Samsung unveils Galaxy Z8 foldables, including first Fold8 Ultra

Samsung Electronics unveiled three new foldable smartphones - the Galaxy Z Fold8, Fold8 Ultra and Flip8 - at its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in London. The company introduced a new display ratio for the Fold8 and launched its first ultra-premium foldable model. It also expanded agentic AI features across its foldables and announced new Galaxy Watch9 models and Intelligent Eyewear smart glasses. The Z8 series will roll out globally from Aug. 7.

Qualcomm to supply Snapdragon chips for Samsung\'s entire new Galaxy lineup

Qualcomm is expanding cooperation with Samsung by supplying its chips across Samsung’s new lineup of smartphones, watches and smart glasses. Qualcomm Technologies said at a Samsung Unpacked event on Wednesday that Snapdragon 8 Elite 5th Gen for Galaxy, Snapdragon Wear Elite and Snapdragon AR1 1st Gen will be used in the new lineup. 대상 products include Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8 and Flip8, Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra2, and next-generation intelligent eyewear.

Samsung Electronics steps up push into AI smart glasses, unveils two new designs

Samsung Electronics unveiled two new designs for its AI-enabled smart glasses line, Intelligent Eyewear, as it speeds up its push into the smart wearable market. The company showcased designs developed with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker at Galaxy Unpacked in London. The glasses run on an Android extended reality platform and offer hands-free functions such as messaging, translation, navigation and recording. Samsung said battery life is up to 9 hours per charge, with up to seven additional charges via a case.
