Chipmakers publish their own AI agent performance metrics. Here is why

Galaxy Z Flip8 is thinner and faster, but do Flip7 users need to upgrade?

Samsung Electronics’ new foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip8, is lighter and thinner than its predecessor and improves performance and cover-screen usability, but changes to core hardware such as the display, cameras and battery are limited. The phone starts at $1,199.99 for 256GB and $1,399.99 for 512GB, $100 higher than the Flip7 at the same storage. Review site TechRadar said it could suit first-time foldable buyers or upgrades from older models, while Flip7 users may see less need to switch.

Valve VR headset Steam Frame earns points for repairability, cooling fan is the problem

Valve\'s VR headset Steam Frame is generally designed to be easy to repair, but replacing its cooling fan requires a complicated teardown, a report said. iFixit cited the fan’s deep placement inside the device as the biggest drawback, requiring removal of optical modules, cooling parts and cables. Other parts were easier to service, though the battery lacks pull tabs and controller joysticks are soldered. Parts availability is also an issue.
