Three South Korean AI startups target global AI market using Oracle Cloud
Korea Oracle said VMIC, PromptTown and KAB Labs joined Oracle’s startup cooperation program Miracle and enhanced industry-specific work processes using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. It said Miracle is jointly run by Oracle, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, KISED and Seoul National University of Science and Technology. The companies reported lower infrastructure costs, faster processing speeds and plans to support customers across global hubs.

South Korea\'s President Lee, business leaders meet in San Francisco to reshape AI supply chain
South Korean President Lee Jae-myung issued a “San Francisco AI Declaration” in San Francisco on July 24, pledging to make the country an indispensable axis of the global AI supply chain. He cited a 4,700 trillion won AI project investment announced in June and investment initiatives by domestic and foreign firms whose combined enterprise value exceeds 2 quadrillion won. The focus includes memory and foundry semiconductors, autonomous driving and AI factories.

Nvidia steps up cooperation with South Korea to expand AI ecosystem at San Francisco AI summit
Nvidia said South Korean President Lee Jae-myung and leading South Korean business figures and researchers will meet Nvidia and ecosystem partners at an AI summit in San Francisco this week to explore the direction of AI development in South Korea. As a first step, Nvidia and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology said they will set up a joint AI research centre at KAIST in Seoul to advance agentic AI.
