Swift has warned it will no longer allow free-form, unstructured postal addresses in cross-border payment messages from November 2026, saying non-compliant payments may be delayed or rejected. The change applies to its CBPR+ framework and requires structured sender and recipient address data. Swift described the move as an industry-agreed evolution of standards. The announcement has drawn attention to Ripple and XRP, though industry figures stress ISO 20022 is a messaging standard, not a payment service.

Retriever, which provides the AI-based information security management system certification response automation solution Klarisk, said on June 9 it raised pre-seed funding from Mashup Ventures. The company said Klarisk uses AI to automate governance, risk and compliance work by analysing corporate data to identify compliance status and risks and suggest improvements. Retriever also secured up to 500 million won in R&D funds through the TIPS programme and is conducting technology verification with NH cooperative partners.
