Segway launches $1,999 Cyber Air electric bike with angular body and X-shaped lighting

Segway has launched its moped-style electric bicycle, the Cyber Air, priced at $1,999, aiming at the mass market. It keeps the aggressive look of the earlier Cyber model but adjusts weight and riding specifications to meet U.S. Class 1, 2 and 3 e-bike categories. The bike uses a 750W rear hub motor and a 717Wh battery with a claimed 58-mile range. It adds connected features, though some require a subscription after a year.

KT tests UAM on Incheon islands, verifies 5G and satellite network stability

KT tested AI-based urban air mobility (UAM) traffic management technology and the operability of 5G and satellite communications networks in island areas of Incheon, it said. KT said it completed a public UAM demonstration with Incheon city, the Aerospace Industry-Academia Convergence Institute and the K-UAM One Team. The test applied integrated operations capabilities to routes linking Yeongjongdo and Deokjeokdo and checked data-sharing systems among related agencies.

Gold rebounds after two-week slide as Fed rate outlook shifts

Gold rebounded after two weeks of declines as markets increasingly price in the likelihood that the U.S. Federal Reserve will keep rates unchanged this month. Spot gold moved toward $4,180 an ounce. The shift followed remarks by Fed Chair Kevin Warsh, which led investors to cut expectations of a near-term hike. Traders are now watching the next FOMC meeting and the U.S. PCE inflation report. Other precious metals also gained.
