KT is presenting disaster and everyday safety solutions using AI and AI transformation (AX) infrastructure.

KT said on Tuesday it will take part in the 2026 Korea Safety Industry Expo, running through Sept. 4 at Exhibition Hall 1 of BEXCO in Busan.

At the expo, KT is unveiling technologies that support safety in daily life and at industrial and disaster sites, including safety AX solutions, an intelligent disaster-site response system, AI-based voice phishing prevention and network security.

It is exhibiting its real-time remote monitoring service Safemate. Based on a system linked to 112 and 119, Safemate supports monitoring and response for emergencies such as crime and fires. It provides stable safety management services using an LTE network.

KT is also presenting the KT Safety Unmanned Vehicle Integrated Control Platform for disaster-site searches. The platform can control and monitor various unmanned vehicles, including drones, unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), from a single platform.

It is also introducing AI Voice Phishing Detection Service 2.0, which detects voice phishing risks by analysing call content in real time with AI. It added phishing speaker recognition and deep voice detection to existing scenario analysis, applying a three-layer prevention system combining scenarios, voice and deep voice.

KT plans to launch AI Voice Phishing Detection Service 3.0 based on multimodal analysis that also assesses non-verbal factors such as speaking style, intonation and speed.

KT is also exhibiting its network security service KT WiFi Guard. The service uses an agent installed on Wi-Fi routers so that only authorised devices can connect, and blocks hacking attempts based on a zero-trust approach.

At the KT booth, it is also introducing disaster-safety technologies from group companies and partners, including satellite communications and AI-based disaster command from kt sat, Samsung SDS and CyberTel.

Jin-gwon Lee (이진권), a managing director and head of KT's Enterprise Proposals and Delivery Division, said KT is continuously advancing technologies that strengthen safety for the public and industrial sites. He said he hopes the expo will provide an opportunity to experience KT's various safety AX solutions and technological capabilities in the disaster-safety field.
