Anthropic core team says Claude now writes almost all code

Code-writing work in Anthropic\'s core platform engineering organisation has effectively shifted to Claude, Business Insider reported. Caitlin Lese (케이틀린 레세), who leads the platform engineering group, said all team code is written by Claude as the company builds and maintains internal systems. Employees still handle system design and verification. Anthropic is also considering letting agents autonomously change real codebases as model performance improves.

Denmark sees 97 percent of new private cars as electric, shaking up garages and fuel stations

More than 97 percent of newly registered private passenger cars in Denmark are now fully electric, pointing to structural changes across the auto industry. As electric vehicle adoption accelerates, garages, auto parts suppliers and fuel stations centred on internal combustion engines face pressure to develop new survival strategies. In September, fully electric cars made up 97.3 percent of new private registrations and 88.6 percent of all new cars including corporate vehicles.

Free open-source editing suite Crafting Apps draws attention with Adobe-like interface

A free open-source software bundle, Crafting Apps, has been released to support image and video editing and PDF work. Built from scratch in Rust, the suite includes seven app projects published on GitHub and supports macOS, Windows and Linux, with some available on the web. The lineup includes PhotoCraft, VectorCraft and tools for video editing, RAW processing, PDF handling, motion graphics and publishing. Developers say some apps remain in early alpha or under development.
