Korea Gold Exchange Digital Asset, Hana Bank expand Hana Gold Trust eligibility to 18K, 14K

Korea Gold Exchange Digital Asset said on Sunday it will expand the list of items eligible for the Hana Gold Trust it operates with Hana Bank to include 18K and 14K gold, in addition to 24K. Eligible items include gold bars and jewellery such as rings and necklaces, with a minimum deposit weight of 30 grams. Deposited gold can be converted into a standard asset and returned as a 99.99 percent new gold bar after a one-year term.

Hecto Healthcare\'s inner beauty brand Only Ritual will debut an integrated portfolio expanded from inner beauty to skincare in global markets. Only Ritual said it will take part in CBE 2026, to be held in Shanghai from May 12 to 14. The booth will focus on the \'One Day Ritual\' concept and showcase three key products sold at Olive Young alongside the superfood-based Healthy Green Cleanse. The skincare line is scheduled for a formal domestic launch in June.

Look for winners from National Growth Fund as AI, bio and secondary batteries draw interest

South Korea’s National Growth Fund is stepping up support for sovereign AI, bio and secondary battery sectors, prompting investors to search for beneficiaries. The fund has approved 11 projects through April, with cumulative approvals of about 8.4 trillion won. Beneficiary candidates cited include POSCO Future M, Dong-A Socio Holdings, Foosung, Naver and Samsung SDS. Analysts said investors should check ownership ties, business links and actual inflows of funds.
