MCP adoption simplifies AI-legacy system integration, but quality and governance remain challenges

Musinsa Tech said introducing the Model Context Protocol (MCP) for a conversational product discovery service made it easier for AI to connect to external data and software tools, but did not guarantee the AI would use tools as intended. The company said it faced trial and error in converting user questions into accurate search conditions and tightened input controls. It limited the service to non-login product discovery and blocked access to personal and payment data, stressing least-privilege design. It also called for wider native support and standardized authentication and security.

Apple\'s first foldable \'iPhone Ultra\' may be coming; six key points

Apple may unveil its first foldable iPhone this autumn under the name iPhone Ultra, with changes spanning design, hardware and software, a report said. The device is expected to use a book-style fold with a wider outer display and an inner screen closer to an iPad mini. It may minimise screen creases, drop a telephoto camera, add iOS 27 foldable features, use an A20 Pro chip and adopt Touch ID.

Hashdex ETF introduces staking rewards, investors paid only above threshold

Asset manager Hashdex has introduced a staking structure for the Nasdaq CME Crypto Index ETF, NCIQ, under which the firm keeps all net staking income up to a threshold. Investors in the fund’s common shares receive a share only once annual net staking income exceeds a dollar amount equal to 0.25 percent of common-share net asset value. Above that level, income is split 40 percent to Hashdex and 60 percent to the trust for common shareholders.
