[Digital Today reporter Jinju Hong (홍진주)] Binance has decided to delist 7 cryptocurrencies from its Alpha platform. The move removes assets that fail to meet the criteria for staying on the Alpha list following a regular review. The decision does not mean a full suspension of related services, and users can sell or withdraw their holdings through supported channels.

According to blockchain media outlet U.Today on Oct. 25 (local time), Binance said in a weekly notice it will remove 7 tokens from the Alpha list: PTB, AA, OWL, DORA, ELIZAOS, MEMES and Kukuuma (哭哭马). It said the removal schedule was set for Oct. 23.

The tokens being removed are PTB (Portal to Bitcoin), AA (ARAI), OWL (Owlto Finance), DORA (DORA), ELIZAOS (elizaOS), MEMES (memes will continue) and 哭哭马 (错版马). Binance explained that these assets no longer meet the criteria to remain on the Alpha list.

The move follows Binance's regular asset review process. Binance periodically reviews tokens included on the Alpha platform and removes assets from the list if they fall short of its standards. It did not disclose specific reasons for each token removed this time.

Binance said the decision follows its operating policy to support innovation and transparency and protect users. It aims to maintain platform operating standards by continuously reviewing the asset composition of the Alpha list.

Users should note that removal from the Alpha list is different from a full suspension of related services. Binance said the move does not automatically stop all functions related to the tokens. Users can sell or withdraw their holdings through supported Binance Alpha and Binance Wallet interfaces.

Binance said users can recover assets by making withdrawals themselves or using the instant sell feature provided on the Alpha platform. As a result, the move is aimed at adjusting the asset composition of the Alpha list, while keeping selling and withdrawal routes in place for existing holders.

The decision shows Binance is regularly re-evaluating the token composition of the Alpha platform. Since being included on the Alpha list does not guarantee continued support for the asset, users need to check whether their tokens remain supported and whether selling and withdrawals are available.
