LG Uplus boosts benefits for long-term customers with monthly cultural invitations
LG Uplus said on Saturday it will strengthen benefits for long-term customers by designating the last Thursday of each month as Long-term Customer Day under its U+Toople membership programme. It will provide premium food, beverage and cultural benefits and plans to offer regular experiential culture and leisure perks this year. In February it will raffle gift sets for eligible VIP customers. It will also expand general benefits, including online learning offers and holiday promotions.

Banks step up embedded finance to combine payments, savings and benefits
South Korean banks are stepping up “embedded finance” by integrating financial services into other companies’ apps and platforms, aiming to make finance part of everyday consumption rather than a separate banking app activity. K Bank plans a commerce-linked service with fashion platform Musinsa after being designated an innovative financial service. Shinhan Bank is partnering with 11st and CJ Olive Young, while KB Kookmin Bank and KakaoBank are broadening tie-ups across retail and platform partners.

KakaoBank launches \'Earning fun with Ottogi Mall\'
KakaoBank said on Tuesday it will offer \"Earning fun with Ottogi Mall\" in partnership with Ottogi until Feb. 3. The tie-up uses KakaoBank’s colour-matching mission to provide benefits for Ottogi’s online mall. Users who play the mission twice can receive either discount coupons or product exchange vouchers. Benefits vary by week, including a 50 percent discount coupon for a product pack and a free coupon to exchange for one of 10 items.
