KT has rolled out customer benefit programmes for Family Month at the same time. In its family benefits app KT Family Box, it will run the "Family Box that is useful to know" quiz event for three weeks from May 4, it said on Saturday. The event introduces long-term customer benefits and plan and subscription benefits in a quiz format. Winners will be selected by lottery from those who answer correctly to receive Sofitel Ambassador Seoul accommodation vouchers (10 people), Outback dining vouchers (10 people), Everland all-day passes (10 people) and Banana Flavoured Milk mobile exchange coupons (3,000 people).

In the Family Box app's "Coupon Box" menu, users can also receive partner discount coupons in food, health and daily life categories. These include an Ottogi Mall 30 percent discount coupon (up to 20,000 won), a Pulmuone 30 percent discount coupon (up to 8,000 won) and a 10,000 won discount coupon for first-time buyers, a Daypack 30 percent discount coupon (up to 30,000 won) and a Daypack Energy 50 percent discount coupon, and a coupon pack for Cheongyeon housekeeping, air-conditioner cleaning and side-dish subscription service discounts.

Customers who continue using a mobile phone that a family member used on KT for at least 30 days within the past 3 years will receive Naver Pay worth 30,000 won or a Daiso mobile exchange coupon through the "Family Phone Pass-On" event. They will also receive 2,000 megabytes of bonus data each month for up to 1 year.

Benefits have also been prepared for Y customers aged 20 to 34. In the Y Box app run by KT's Y brand, it will hold the "Campus Rivalry Season 2" event for three weeks from May 13. Users vote for the university festival they most want to visit, and 100 people will be selected by lottery each week to receive Starbucks mobile exchange coupons. Among Y Box app entrants, a total of 25 people will also receive invitations to designated seats for KT Wiz home games (2 tickets per person).

KT is also running events for activation customers on its official online store KT.com at the same time. The first 20,000 people to take part in its Family Month event will receive a 50,000 won handset discount coupon, and customers who sign up for a handset and internet and TV at the same time will receive exclusive discount benefits of up to 450,000 won. Customers who activate handsets, USIM, internet and TV through KT.com will be selected by lottery to receive SSG gift vouchers worth 100,000 won (20 people), 50,000 won (50 people), 30,000 won (100 people) and 3,000 won (200 people).
