LG Uplus said on Saturday it will strengthen benefits for long-term customers.
LG Uplus will designate the last Thursday of each month as Long-term Customer Day during benefit days for its flagship membership programme, U+Toople. It will offer premium benefits including food and beverage and cultural perks. This year, it plans to regularly provide hands-on cultural and leisure benefits in addition to Long-term Customer Day.
In February, to mark the Lunar New Year, it will additionally give away gift sets of LG Household & Health Care Scented Moment Floral worth 50,000 won by raffle. Long-term customers who have used the service for 5 years or more and have a VIP or higher membership tier can apply via the U+Toople menu until Feb. 9. From March, it will provide various gifts each month, including invitations to seasonal cultural activities.
LG Uplus is also continuing to strengthen U+Toople benefits available to everyone, not only long-term customers. Customers with a top-tier rating or higher will receive a one-month free trial and a 30,000 won voucher for its textbook mall.

On specific dates, it will offer discounts for Vivaldi Park on Feb. 2, Spaland on Feb. 11 and Jureong Jureong on Feb. 13. It will also offer benefits for the musicals "Rent" and "Bonnie and Clyde" and the exhibitions "Miffy and the Magic Postbox" and "Hayley Tippmann" from Feb. 9 to Feb. 13, for the musical "Painters," and discounts for Smob on Feb. 13.
Other monthly popular benefits include a 6,000 won discount at Paris Baguette on Feb. 9 for purchases of 20,000 won or more, a 9,000 won discount on Baskin Robbins Family on Feb. 10, and 8 Starbucks star rewards on Feb. 11. They also include a 5,000 won cash giveaway on KakaoPage, a 30 percent discount at Ottogi Mall, a CGV U+Toople giveaway (popcorn M plus beverage M) on Feb. 13, a one-month free pass for Welaaa on Feb. 19 and a one-month free pass for Millie's Library on Feb. 20. It will provide these benefits to many customers with the maximum available volume.
Jang Jun-young (장준영), executive director and head of the marketing group at LG Uplus, said, "We plan to regularly strengthen various experiential benefits for long-term customers." He said, "We will continue to think about how to provide customers with differentiated value and benefits that they truly need, based on customer experience."
