An AI agent called Robster Wilde, created by an OpenAI developer, mistakenly transferred about $250,000 worth of Solana meme coins to an X user, triggering a weekend debate on social media. The bot tried to send tokens equal to about 4 SOL but sent about 52.43 million Robster tokens instead. On-chain data showed the recipient sold all tokens within about 15 minutes, taking roughly $40,000, while the token price later jumped.
