SOOP said on Thursday it has signed a live streaming contract with esports team KT Rolster and will pursue a partnership focused on player broadcasts and content production.
The deal will run for 2 years from 2026 to 2027. KT Rolster players will stream directly via an official account and individual player accounts on the SOOP platform. SOOP and KT Rolster plan to continue cooperation through jointly planned content.
Under the agreement, the two sides will build a collaboration structure that goes beyond one-off events and allows stable operation of team content. They plan to roll out various content reflecting players' individuality and the team's identity, and broaden points of contact with fans.
SOOP said it will further strengthen a content ecosystem centered on esports teams through the partnership. It said the plan is to create an environment where fans can communicate more closely with players through broadcasts featuring direct player participation and jointly planned content.
