Graybox, which operates marketing automation and messaging platform Notifly, said on Monday it has introduced a LINE message-sending function for target customers in Japan and other Asian markets.
With the update, Notifly has added LINE channels to services it already supports, including Kakao notification and friend messages, SMS, email, app push and in-app messages.
Marketers can automatically send messages tailored to customer behavior flows, such as sending a purchase prompt 1 hour after local customers abandon items in their carts, offering welcome coupons to newly registered users, or sending check-in messages to encourage dormant customers to return. Delivery results can be checked in real time alongside other channels on an integrated dashboard.
If users prepare only an official LINE account (Official Account), the integration process can be handled using the guide and technical support provided by Notifly.
Lee Min-yong (이민용), Graybox CEO, said securing the most popular local channel is an essential task for companies targeting overseas markets. He said the feature will allow companies to carry out LINE marketing as easily and naturally as they use KakaoTalk, and that it will help South Korean companies generate global business results without technical barriers.
