China produces photonic chip wafers without ASML equipment, cutting costs to one tenth

China\'s semiconductor equipment company Prinano (PRINANO) said it has succeeded in making photonic chip wafers without ASML\'s deep ultraviolet lithography tools, using its own nanoimprint lithography technology. The company said it produced 8-inch wafers and could cut manufacturing costs to about one-tenth of conventional methods. Amsterdam Schiphol airport trials electric TaxiBot tug, expects 80% cut in aircraft ground emissions

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport has begun trial operations of the electric aircraft tug TaxiBot to sharply cut emissions produced during ground movements. The airport is testing the system in a real operating environment and expects it to reduce carbon emissions from ground taxiing by more than 80 percent. TaxiBot can move aircraft and supply power without running the main engines or auxiliary power unit, cutting fuel use, noise and exhaust exposure.

Anthropic expands Mythos access to 150 new organisations in 15 countries, including Samsung, SK Hynix and SK Telecom

Anthropic is expanding Project Glasswing, an initiative that uses its AI models to help organisations find vulnerabilities and prepare response measures, to 150 organisations in more than 15 countries, TechCrunch reported. Anthropic provided access to Claude Mythos Preview to 50 initial partners in early April, including the U.S. government. New participants include companies in power, water, healthcare, telecommunications and hardware.
