Genians CEO Lee Dong-beom receives National Order of Merit for information security
Lee Dong-beom (이동범), chief executive of South Korean cybersecurity company Genians, received the Seokryu-jang grade of the National Order of Merit at the 15th Information Security Day ceremony. Genians said Lee was selected in recognition of contributions to the domestic information security market, including achieving import substitution with locally developed security technology and strengthening security levels at key national facilities. Lee founded Genians in 2005.

Genians Q1 sales up 25.5 percent to 11.74 billion won, operating profit jumps 47-fold
Genians said first-quarter consolidated sales rose 25.5 percent from a year earlier to 11.74 billion won, while operating profit came to 1.74 billion won, more than 47 times higher. The company said growth was led by its NAC and EDR businesses, along with expansion into cloud NAC and MDR services. It also said it secured meaningful customers for its Genian Home security solution and sees new opportunities in the second half.

Genians surpasses 200 global customers
Genians said on April 7 it has surpassed 200 cumulative global customers as it rapidly expands its customer base mainly in overseas markets. The company said the shift from network access control to zero trust and the establishment of a cloud-based subscription model were key growth drivers. It said U.S. sales account for the largest share of overseas revenue, while the Middle East is emerging as a strategic hub, with new customers also added in APAC.
