Genians said on Monday it has surpassed 200 cumulative global customers as it rapidly expands its customer base mainly in overseas markets.
The company said a shift from network access control (NAC) to zero trust and the establishment of a cloud-based subscription model served as key growth drivers.
Genians said U.S. sales account for the largest share of its overseas revenue, and the Middle East is rapidly emerging as a strategic hub. It also said it has secured new customers in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, including Singapore, building a balanced portfolio that is not concentrated in any single country.
Earlier, Genians set up a Global Technical Support Center (GTSC) in Bengaluru, India, last year. It said organic cooperation with its U.S. unit and its UAE office completed a "global one-stop service" system spanning product sales and technical support.
Changes to its business organisation and marketing strategy also had a positive impact on its overseas business. Genians said it has pursued a segmented approach to global markets since appointing a head of its overseas business division, and has continued to take part in major security exhibitions and conferences to raise brand awareness.
Genians said it plans to focus on advancing its technology in line with the latest security trends, including AI. It said it will gradually expand the scope of AI application to strengthen product functions and improve security operations efficiency, reducing customers' security management burden worldwide.
Na Se-il (나세일), an executive director at Genians leading its overseas business division, said securing 200 global customers was the result of synergy between Genians' technology capabilities and its global operating strategy. He said the company will further solidify its presence in the global security market based on differentiated strategies tailored to regional market characteristics and strong partnerships.
