Scope Information Communications took part in the integrated security exhibition SECON & eGISEC 2026 held at KINTEX in Ilsan from March 18 to 20, showcasing next-generation network security solutions.

Scope Information Communications set up a combined booth at the event, spanning the SECON zone focused on the private physical security market and the eGISEC zone focused on public sector and e-government information security.

The company said a dedicated solution called IPScan HomeGuard, which separates networks between households in apartment complex home networks, drew strong interest from visitors at the event.

After hacking incidents involving apartment wall pads nationwide, the government made it mandatory to separate networks between households in apartment home networks. But the market lacked dedicated solutions tailored to apartment environments. Even when companies inevitably introduced enterprise equipment, practical constraints remained, including the need to hire separate specialist management staff and the resulting high maintenance costs.

IPScan HomeGuard is an apartment-specific network segmentation solution. It is designed to be completed by simply adding equipment to a shared communications room, or MDF room.

At eGISEC, IPScan NAC drew interest. IPScan NAC blocks unauthorised devices from accessing networks at the source and provides detailed and flexible access control functions based on each organisation's security policies.

Kwon-ki Kim (김권기), head of the security business division at Scope Information Communications, said the company's participation in the exhibition directly demonstrated that its network control technology can keep not only the public sector and companies across industries but also the everyday residential spaces of all citizens safe.
