Park Hyun-joo of Mirae Asset to donate all dividends for 16th straight year

Mirae Asset Group said on Sunday that its Chairman Park Hyun-joo (박현주) will donate all of his 2025 dividends from Mirae Asset Management. The donation marks the 16th straight year he has given away his entire dividend, bringing cumulative donations to 34.7 billion won. The group said the funds will be used for talent development programmes through its public-interest foundation. It added that cumulative social contribution spending by two foundations totalled 112.7 billion won as of end-2025.

Mirae Asset to develop Honam region\'s first five-star JW Marriott hotel on Yeosu Gyeongdo

Mirae Asset Management said on Thursday it will develop a JW Marriott hotel on Gyeongdo in Yeosu, South Jeolla province, marking the first global five-star hotel brand in the Honam region. The company held a signing ceremony on Wednesday in Seoul for a management contract for the hotel site within the Yeosu Gyeongdo development area. Mirae Asset is investing about 1 trillion won in the broader development, targeting completion in 2029.

Mirae Asset Management lists TIGER Technology Transfer Bio Active ETF

Mirae Asset Management said it listed the TIGER Technology Transfer Bio Active ETF on the Korea Exchange on March 17. The active ETF uses the KRX Technology Transfer Bio Index announced by the Korea Exchange as its benchmark and mainly invests in listed KOSDAQ bio stocks. It focuses on the technology transfer, or license-out, theme. The initial portfolio includes biotech firms such as LikaChem Bio, OliX and ABL Bio, which account for about 86.8 percent.
