Miso Information Technology said on Tuesday it has completed registration of seven new patents in next-generation technologies including artificial intelligence, extended reality and image processing. The company said the patents cover areas such as human resources management, visual and speech recognition, distributed resource optimisation and spatial computing. It said the registrations are expected to contribute to its multimodal data platform and advancement of agentic AI.

South Korea led standardisation discussions at an international meeting on cloud computing and distributed platforms held on Jeju from March 23 to 27, the National Radio Research Agency said on Monday. The agency said a South Korea-proposed standard defines relationships among AI applications, systems and components in cloud environments and provides a basis for efficiently implementing AI services that require large-scale data and computing. The meeting also began talks on new standards.
