Apple to focus on M7, skip high-end M6 in chip strategy overhaul
Apple plans to change its next-generation in-house Mac chip strategy by skipping high-performance M6 models and focusing on the M7 series with stronger on-device AI features. A report said Apple will release only a base M6 chip later this year, without Pro or Max variants, then expand the lineup around M7. The base M6 targets up to 200 GB per second memory bandwidth, up from M5’s 153 GB per second.

Tesla’s Model Y remained the top-selling model with 53,074 units, down 7%, while Model 3 sales fell 47% to under 15,000. Growth remained strong in parts of Asia and some emerging markets as Chinese exporters expanded overseas.

LG launches LG Sound Suite in South Korea for location-free spatial audio
LG Electronics has introduced the LG Sound Suite home audio system in South Korea, offering spatial sound optimised for a room regardless of speaker placement. It supports Dolby Atmos FlexConnect and can work with 2025 and 2026 LG premium TVs to deliver spatial audio based on each device’s position. The system includes features such as listener tracking, AI sound processing, room calibration and wireless playback. Prices vary by component.
