Kraken launches cryptocurrency payment card in UK and Europe with up to 2 percent cashback
Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has begun issuing debit cards for users in Britain and the European Economic Area. Users can spend cryptocurrencies and cash held in their Kraken accounts, with payments running on the Mastercard network and conversions available for more than 600 currencies at purchase. Kraken says it does not charge its own payment or ATM fees. Cashback of up to 2 percent depends on average balances and is paid weekly in bitcoin, euros or pounds.

Dutch Tesla owners of Hardware 3 (HW3) vehicles are rapidly expanding collective legal action, with participation nearing 7,000, as they argue Full Self-Driving (FSD) performance promised by Tesla cannot be implemented on HW3 cars. Organisers are preparing to set up a foundation under Dutch rules to pursue a formal class action. Claimants cite an RDW approval limiting FSD Supervised in Europe to HW4 vehicles and seek damages and possible refunds.

Lithuania builds space industry on small satellites, aims for 1 percent of GDP by 2027
Lithuania is emerging as a new centre of Europe’s space industry by riding growth in the low-Earth orbit small satellite market, as the sector shifts from large satellites to low-cost mass production. The government aims to lift the space industry’s contribution to gross domestic product to 1 percent by 2027. Local startup NanoAvionics has won a contract to supply 280 satellites for Meridian Space’s LEO network project.
