Jensen Huang says U.S. must welcome foreign talent amid Trump H-1B curbs
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the United States must keep accepting outstanding foreign talent to maintain its technological competitiveness. His remarks run counter to the Trump administration’s push to tighten immigration enforcement, including scrutiny of H-1B visas. The White House said the U.S. can develop sufficient domestic workers and that President Donald Trump’s jobs policy focuses on tapping that potential. Trump last year signed an order imposing a $100,000 fee on new H-1B applications.

Lisa Su says gaming is a very important business for AMD, will expand AI integration
AMD Chair and CEO Lisa Su said the company will continue to nurture gaming as a key business even as the AI market expands. She said gaming keeps demanding high computing performance, and AMD plans to apply AI to game graphics and development to improve performance and efficiency. At an event in Seoul, Su and AMD executive Jack Huynh said AMD will support PCs, consoles and handheld devices, expand machine learning technologies, and keep supporting platforms to reduce upgrade burdens.

AMD Chief Executive Lisa Su met South Korean AI chip companies to expand cooperation based on an open AI computing ecosystem. South Korea’s science ministry and AMD held a roundtable in Seoul to discuss building a heterogeneous computing ecosystem and combining AMD CPUs and GPUs with locally made AI chips. Officials and executives said demand is shifting toward inference, increasing interest in mixing GPUs and NPUs. The government plans large-scale reference projects to validate full-stack systems.
