Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (황젠슨) is expected to visit Naver's second headquarters, 1784, during his trip to South Korea this week.
An industry source said on June 1 that Huang is currently coordinating with Naver on a plan to visit the Naver 1784 building in Bundang, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, during his itinerary. June 8 is seen as the most likely date.
Huang is also expected to meet separately with Naver board chairman Lee Hae-jin (이해진) on June 5 ahead of the visit. Broad cooperation plans are expected to be discussed, including AI infrastructure, sovereign AI and physical AI.
Naver 1784 is a headquarters building that brings together Naver’s future technologies, including robots, cloud, digital twins and a 5G specialized network. In March, AMD CEO Lisa Su visited in person and discussed AI infrastructure cooperation with Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon, and the two companies signed a memorandum of understanding to expand the AI ecosystem and cooperate on next-generation infrastructure.
As Naver is strengthening its physical AI capabilities based on AI, cloud and digital twin technologies, attention is focused on whether Huang’s visit, if confirmed, will lead to additional cooperation talks with Nvidia.
A Naver official said, "At the moment, there is nothing we can confirm."
