Leica says generative AI will not be in M cameras but fits Xiaomi 17T Pro

Leica said generative AI features should be distinguished from its traditional cameras, while there is room to use them in licensed brands such as Xiaomi’s 17T series. The comments were made at a roundtable held after the launch of the Xiaomi 17T Pro, which highlights Leica-tuned cameras and Google’s text-to-video tool Gemini Omni. Leica unveils \'Metal Gray\' series, to launch M11-P, Q3 and D-Lux 8 in stages

Leica is expanding its traditionally black-and-silver design lineup with a modern Metal Gray colour. Leica Camera Korea said on May 29 it will release Metal Gray versions of the M11-P, Q3 and D-Lux 8 cameras, along with the Apo-Summicron-M 1:2/50 ASPH. lens, in stages. Panasonic Korea launches Lumix TZ300 pocket digital compact camera

Panasonic Korea has launched the pocket-sized Lumix TZ300 digital compact camera aimed at travel and vlog demand. The camera features a 1.0-inch BSI CMOS sensor with about 20.1 megapixels and a LEICA-certified 24 to 360 mm 15x optical zoom lens, plus AF macro shooting from as close as 3 cm. It supports 4K video, FHD 120 fps slow motion, dual image stabilisation, 22 creative filters, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi sharing, and USB-C charging.
