Panasonic Korea launched the Four Thirds fixed-lens digital camera Lumix L10 (DC-L10) in South Korea on June 29 to mark the 25th anniversary of the Lumix brand.

The Lumix L10 features a LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMILUX 24-75mm lens supporting an F1.7 to 2.8 aperture in 35mm equivalent terms. It combines a 4/3-inch back-side illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor with the latest image processing engine to deliver an effective resolution of 20.4 megapixels. It supports high-speed continuous shooting of up to 30 frames per second with an electronic shutter, applying phase-detection hybrid AF with 779 focusing points and AI subject recognition technology.

The body weighs about 508 grams, including the battery and memory card, and is designed to be compact. A magnesium alloy front case and Saffiano leather-texture finish enhance durability and design completeness. It includes an about 2.36-million-dot OLED viewfinder and an about 1.84-million-dot free-angle monitor, and both displays support a UI optimised for vertical shooting.

A Panasonic Korea official said, "The Lumix L10 is a high-end camera that brings together Panasonic's optical technology and design philosophy accumulated over 25 years," adding, "We plan to introduce choices that match user preferences sequentially through a diverse colour lineup."

The consumer price for the black and silver versions is 2.09 million won, and a titanium gold special edition, scheduled to be released in July, is 2.19 million won. It can be purchased at Panasonic Korea's official online and offline stores, and buyers will receive an additional BLK22EB battery.
