Kakao says AI for Everyone agentic AI platform is core, beta in October

Kakao will provide its \"AI for Everyone\" service through a separate AI platform using KakaoTalk as the main entry point, starting with a new web service and expanding to phone access via LG Uplus. Kakao aims to build an open ecosystem that allows external AI agents on the platform through an AI agent marketplace. The beta is targeted for October, initially as a chatbot, with plans to develop an agentic AI platform within the year.

BusinessCanvas says marketing AI hinges on last mile beyond AI

AI-based B2B marketing solution company BusinessCanvas has reached break-even about 6 years after its founding. Growth accelerated after it launched its account intelligence solution Athena in January, the company said. CEO Woojin Kim (김우진) said sales will grow faster in the second half of this year and next year. Athena uses AI and data to identify targets and arrange C-level sales meetings, with experts handling last-mile execution.

LG Uplus launches PMDC alliance to cut AIDC construction time

LG Uplus is developing a standard model for prefabricated modular data centres to standardise the design, construction and operation of AI data centres and meet rising AI infrastructure demand. The company said it signed an agreement with GS Engineering & Construction, Xi C&A, Gansam Architects and D&O CM to build a PMDC alliance. The partners have jointly developed standard models since April, including new-build and retrofit options.
